Manoora Primary School is situated approximately 120 km north of Adelaide on the Barrier Highway, adjacent to the Clare Valley. The school has a strong focus on numeracy and literacy with students regularly achieving excellent results in these areas. Students at Manoora participate in many community events statewide events, including entering artwork and poetry into local shows, as well as proudly repressenting the school as AgSciebntist at the Adelaide show.
Manoora has two classes, R-2 and 3-6. We work closely with the surrounding schools of Watervale, Auburn and Saddleworth.

Japanese is the school’s second language which is delivered by Open Access.

Being a school in a small rural town, there are strong community links with the school and excellent parent and community support and involvement. Our staff focus on maintaining positive, supportive, caring relationships among all students and use a restorative approach when it comes to conflict resolution.

Sustainability is a key part of our everyday life at Manoora PS, with a kitchen garden and chickens to support our wonderful ‘paddock to plate’ approach, shared by the school every Friday. We welcome you to pop in and check it out for yourself.
